Biography

Will Bradley is a writer and curator based in Norway. He was a co-founder and director of The Modern Institute in Glasgow from 1997-2001 and he is currently completing a Phd on ‘Contemporary art as social or economic research’ at Manchester Metropolitan University. Current projects include editing Art & Social Change: A Reader (Afterall Books/Tate Publications), on artists works, projects and writings from the late 19th Century to the present day; co-curating an exhibition with the same title (with Charles Esche) for the Van Abbe Museum, Eindhoven; and organizing From Tomorrow On, a conference on art, activism and independent media production for Cornerhouse Art Center in Manchester. Bradley is also writing a monograph on Henrik Håkansson for IASPIS. In the Fall 2005 he is curator-in-residence at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art.
